Our mission is to encourage the academic education of young people in various dance disciplines, with the purpose of contributing to the world of dance and the arts in general.
We focus on aiding talented applicants from vulnerable neighborhoods and from remote locations lacking quality dance education in Argentina.
We also help strengthen, across the continent, the values of educational excellence for students, teachers and professors who cannot access opportunities to improve their academic studies and careers.
Our Foundation is a place where dreams of dancing become a reality.

“Julio Bocca Foundation”
We are the JULIO BOCCA FOUNDATION, a non-profit artistic charity.
The Julio Bocca Foundation is an Argentine non-profit organization, established in 1998 by renowned dancer and choreographer Julio Bocca. Its main mission is to offer academic and financial support to dance and musical theater students in Argentina and other Latin American countries. The foundation stands out for its Musical Theater and Dance School, which has more than 26 years of experience in training artists.
An extensive exchange program with other institutions with similar academic and social profiles from the rest of the Spanish speaking countries is part of our academic offer, founded by Maestro Julio Bocca in 1998. The experience and search for has Julio´s imprint and can be seen in our teachers and staff who develop academic and social activities in our institution, allowing students to come into contact with the high value of learning for more than 20 years. Our foundation is a great referent in the development of scholarship programs in all disciplines related to dance and musical theater, having benefited more than 10,000 students over the past 20 years. Today, many of these scholarship students, transformed into entertainment professionals, are recognized on the most important stages in the world and /or represent an significant contribution to the field of teaching dance and musical theater education.
Our Foundation has educational and artistic projects. One of these projects is the Training and Training of teachers in Functional Biomechanical Conditioning applied to dance.
Programs and Activities:
In the field of musical theater, the foundation grants 100% scholarships to young people between 18 and 30 years from Argentina and Latin America, allowing them to participate in an intensive work plan that includes up to six classes a day.
The school is noted for its focus on training versatile performers, combining classical and contemporary dance techniques with acting and singing. Its extensive experience of more than 20 years and its academic exchanges with institutions in the region enrich the educational experience of its students.
- The training paths of the Julio Bocca Foundation are the following:
• From Children to Adults, the Julio Bocca Foundation has designed several academic programs adapted and adaptable to the ages of those interested in navigating within the fantastic world of art and entertainment, until training as a dance and musical theater performer as the ultimate goal.
It´s curriculas, according to the artistic disciplines and the different technical and age levels, are demanding and provide, from beginning to end, all the necessary tools required by our students to understand the development of the profession, incorporating institutional values, the imprint of a "History of its own name", with the aid and monitoring by a dedicated staff that that cares for all the processes of the student's personal and academic growth.

- The foundation offers various programs, including:
• Scholarships: Intensive training in dance and musical theater, aimed at young people between 16 and 30 years from Latin American countries. These scholarships allow students to participate in a work plan that runs from March through December, with up to six classes a day and a constant evaluation system.
• Academic Exchanges: The foundation maintains an extensive exchange program with other educational institutions in Latin America, providing opportunities for additional educational enrichment experience.
• Social Activities: In addition to its academic focus, the foundation also engages in social programs, such as the recent launch of the free "Tango 2x4" program.
The Julio Bocca Foundation has trained more than 1,500 students, giving them the opportunity to develop their artistic skills and prepare for careers in the field of art.
